NOKNOT™: Pet Hair Knot Remover

We have a long haired cat and we have been brushing her daily with a regular brush(which she didn't like). We were starting to get mats though and I wanted something to help cut them out. I had a three-blade style dematting comb, but it was too much work and it was only making the cat upset. On a whim I picked this tool and I love it. I haven't seen this much fur/hair on an animal since I helped a friend brush her Husky. Attached is a picture of the first few minutes of brushing

The cat, who hates to be brushed normally, loves this rake. Now every other day I bring out the rake and she is happy to be groomed. Now I pull a little bit of fur each day, but she is already much happier and her fur is much better.

I ordered this comb and WOW! She loves it, and her hair is starting to look better after one comb out. I learned that when I would get to a mat, to gently wiggle the comb and slowly pull the hair straight out, instead of at a combing angle, she let me know if I was doing it wrong. She has two areas I need to get at again tomorrow, but her hair! Her coat is looking shiny, removing all of the old under coat. This is probably the most useful tool I have ever purchased for my animals. I'm buying another, just incase this one gets lost. I combed my dogs as well. They have a clipper cut, but I still got a fair amount of undercoat from them as well. Just go slow. Initially it seemed like a love/hate deal but within 5 minutes Miss Diva couldn't get enough. I am so happy.

This brush is amazing if you've got an animal with thick or long fur.

I have 2 Newfoundlands and the summer shed had just begun. They shed faster than my daily vacuuming can keep up with, but the summer shed made it infinitely worse. I wish this brush were wider with more teeth to the comb, but it is still a great product. In about an hour I had pulled off a pile of hair as big as my 150lb puppy. He is happier and cooler, and I am happy that all that fur is not on my floors, clothes, furniture, and walls!

This is the best tool that we've found in 40 years of dog ownership. You won't be disappointed.

This comb is amazing! It's a lifesaver!! We have a bichon and he hates being dematted. Unfortunately he get's matted very easily so we have to put him through the pain of dematting every few days. Poor things yelps when we demat him :( This comb helps a lot! When we demat him, he seems to be in 80% less pain! I was researching other similar combs but like the fact that this one is smooth at the bottom so that I don't have to worry about mistakenly hurting my pup.

This works!!! We have a long hair black cat who's hair tangles and knots up. He also has horrible anxiety problems! So taking him to a groomer was out of the question. I was able to comb all through his hair. He purred and rolled over. I think he is incredibly grateful to have the knots gone.

If I could give higher rating I would! Really made my day grooming a guard Pyrenees so much easier as she has never been groomed before. WILL BE GETTING ANOTHER AND TELLING EVERYONE ABOUT IT!

I'm new to the pet grooming game and I recently rescued a Persian cat of which needs constant grooming. He came with some matting and I tried scissors and even pet hair clippers but was afraid I'd cut his skin. This tool worked as advertised and myself and my cat Fatty are very pleased.

This is by far the best tool I've ever purchased. It actually gets to my cat's thick undercoat. I have the biggest Furminator but it doesn't begin to touch the fine undercoat fur. Thanks for making such a great product! I'm very pleased and so is Rudy!

I have a 20 year old cat that can no longer go to the groomer due to seziures brought on by the noise from the clippers (yes, even the "silent" ones). This brush was a lifesaver! She hates being brushed & trying to get her belly especially was dang near impossible. Next thing I know, her whole belly had lots of pretty bad mats. Although she still hates being brushed, we did little 5 minute sessions, and the mats came off so easy! No pulling too hard, no over working the same spots. Even for a cat that wasn't excsactly having a great time, it was wonderful! I've tried every kind of soft brush, rake brush, mat combs, even silent clippers over the years. However, this rake-brush has by far been THE BEST at removing cat mats! I also use it on my 5 year old Norwegian Forest cat, holy hair!!! I really don't think you will be disappointed if you try it. I am so happy I bought this and wish I knew about it earlier!

I love the product BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, my 10 year old kitty loves it! I have always combed her long, thick coat, but now she will come lay at my feet, lay on her side and meows at me until I give her a few strokes.

Super happy with this purchase! I've never used one of these before, but a kitty I petsit for had developed some SERIOUS matting that looked uncomfortable for her and became even worse on my 2nd day with her, so I got this ASAP while the family were on vacay. I was trying to avoid the inevitable scissor bald spot butchering I inevitably end up doing with my own longhair cat, and I think this tool really did wonders! I had no idea how it would go & kind of thought it would take hours and/or the mats wouldn't even come out but it only took 10-15min (not including some break time for kitty comfort), left minimal razor marks in the fur, and left majority of the good fur behind when I was half expecting bald patches. It was awesome & happy to keep using it for my own cat!

This pet "rake" is the best grooming tool I have ever used. I have a Bernese Mountain Dog, Lupin. Berners have a double coat. The undercoat is thick and short. The top coat is long. This is the BEST fur comb for dogs with a double coat.
