It changes color according to the water temperature:

Water flashes RED when temperature is above 50°C
Water glows RED when water is Hot (temperature above 42°C)
Water glows GREEN when water is Warm (temperature is 33°C to 41°C)
Water glows BLUE when water is Cold (temperature below 32°C)

No batteries and external power supply needed, it will illuminate after water flows down.

Direction for use:

Firstly, take off net from tap screw thread.
Secondly, install LED faucet light screw thread.
Thirdly, usage of adapter screw thread inside universal adapter

I LOVE THESE THINGS AS DO THE KIDS IN THE HOUSE... THE MAIN THING I LIKE ABOUT THEM IS AT NIGHT. These really work! I had no idea anything like this was available. Buy some for your kid's bathrooms or give them as a present. Love the colors. Blue for cold and as the water heats up going thru the faucet it gets green and then red when it's good and hot. I may order more as we have iron in our water and eventually these will need to be replaced.

It really works! gives off more light than expected and do tell the temperature blue cold water green warm and red if it is hot flashes red if hot enough to burn you.I have cervical neck damage and nerve damage and can't feel hot or cold and anything that helps get less blisters makes my life better.

When I received the product I was pleasantly surprised. The installation was incredibly simple and took less than a minute. I was worried most that it would leak, but it doesn't leak at all and screws in quite nicely. The LED is VERY bright even at low pressure (the brightness changes depending on how fast the water is flowing). I'm very happy with this purchase and I will be buying a few more! recommended!

Bought this almost a year ago and its still working with no problems. it's powered by the water running though it. its bright enough to see what your doing without turning on the lights. it doesn't make any extra noise. it doesn't compromise water pressure. it just works! Blue is cold Green is mid Red is HOT RECOMMENDED!

We love this little thing. It is so much fun and is actually really functional at night to like up the sink without having to turn on all the lights in the kitchen. It was very easy to install. There are three LED colors that correspond to water temperature which is really cool, blue for cold, green for warm to hot and red for very hot. I wouldn't trust it for safety sake but it is pretty accurate for us. Lots of fun and worked great right out of the box. Setup took less than 10 minutes but you may need a wrench to remove your existing faucet cap. Be sure to keep that if you want to swap back later. The stream through the cap is great and we have had no problems so far. Definitely recommended for a fun addition to your faucets!

Pretty fun little thing, great for a kids bathroom. It really works but unfortunately in my house it takes so long for the water in the sink to get warm that we most only ever see it with the blue light. The light isn't super bright as to blind you when using it when getting up at night, but does provide enough light to see that you got all the soap off you your hands. Pretty nice product I luv it . Recommended!
