Between two households and my RV, I purchased approximately five of these. Fortunately, I haven’t had the need to use any of them yet. However, they appear to be easy to use. They can be conveniently hung or placed somewhere near the highest likelihood of a fire such as a cooking stove. Having these nearby offer some sense of security.

Neat and tidy fire blanket Bought for rented flat, adequate size for hob size problem eg chip pan fire. Not able to rate performance as not yet used and hope never has to be!!

Haven't actually used it for a fire!...but it's there on my boat in case I have to. It certainly is wise to have one and I think it's part of the safety certificate if you have cooking equipment on board. Nice tidy, small product that just hangs on the side of the cooker cabinet using one small screw.

I put this in my pantry closet for the just in case stove fire that is dangerouly out of control. Just use a J-hook and screw to wall and mount the blanket. Hope to never have to use it. Figure it would be a better first choice then a fire extinguisher spaying chemical retardants everywhere;

Hope I don’t have to use this to prove it work. However it is nice and compact and I was able to just hang it on the back of a cabinet door for easy access if I do need to use. I like the idea of an easier clean up if I do need to use this, spraying my oven with fire extinguisher foam has never been something I liked the idea of doing.

Bought this a few months ago and stored it under the kitchen sink and forgot about it. Yesterday one of my kids forgot about something he put in the toaster oven and luckily I happened to walk in the room as it burst into flames. Our fire extinguisher didn’t work, I remembered the fire blanket and grabbed that. It was easy to open and use. I threw it on the flames, unplugged the toaster oven, and readjusted the blanket to cover the fire more fully. It put the fire out before it spread fairly quickly. I only wish that the blanket was a little bigger and that it wasn’t one time use. I ordered another one.
