Very easy to use (and very sharp!). I use the slide protector and kitchen glove for extra protection. The slices are consistent and even for most items. Tougher vegetables (sweet potatoes are one) need a little more attention when slicing to make sure you don't put uneven pressure when slicing. I have tried other mandolines and this one is by far the best.

I just received this mandolin slicer and it has saved me so much time. I make a lot of specialty salads for clients and having to slice everything by hand is just too time consuming. The guard also makes it much safer. I highly recommend d this product. It's also dishwasher safe which was a must for me.

I washed it as soon as I got it. Then used it to make au gratin potatoes. It was done in minutes and in the oven cooking. Wow! Every slice was perfectly in the same shape and the finished cooked results were superb. Time saving with awesome accuracy. I absolutely love this mandolin. It very heavy duty no blades to have to contend with. Everything adjusts right on the unit itself to pin point accuracy. The blade is very sharp and it was effortless to use. The safety guide is a wonderful touch. Very impressive professional quality mandolin that I highly recommend.

I really don't write many reviews, but I use this so often that I thought it was only fair that I did for this item. This was the first Mandoline that I've ever bought; did a lot of shopping around trying to find the "right" one for the right price. I settled on this one with a bit of trepidation. I think it is going on a year or so since I bought this; I use it at least three or four times a week to make french fries, waffle fries, matchstick slices of carrots and other vegetables for stir fry, and I even use it to do my initial cuts for making potato salad. Simple and safe to use; I love really every aspect of it. I give a product stars depending on whether or not I would buy that product again or go with something else. If I end up breaking the one I have now, I would definitely grab one of these again, so I'm giving it five stars. Really, no complaints at all. (When initially researching Mandonlines I was concerned that it was a bit more expensive but, having watched the advertising video of this product, as I said, I decided on this one and, as I've also said, have not regretted my decision.)

I have never owned a mandoline, was always afraid of them. After looking at quite a few others I believe that I made the right decision. Safety was priority #1 and being that I don't have to handle any sharp blades this was my choice. I showed it to my daughter in law and she also liked the way it is set up. It works great and I would buy it again.

This mandolin slicer is wonderful! I have had several others over the years, and they did not compare in quality to this one. This mandolin slicer is heavier and more stable than the others. It is easy to use and change to different blades. There are multiple choices when slicing – 4 thicknesses, plus waffle, julienne, etc. Food slides nicely on the stainless steel deck and it is easy to clean. The handguard is better than anything I've seen before on a mandolin slicer; it is more substantial, and actually does protect your hand and fingers. All of the blades are part of the slicer, so you will never be searching around in your cabinet for the right blade. Well worth the money. A good value for the quality of this mandolin slicer.

Safe and good. I had mandolin before this one. It lasted three yesterday before the blades became dull. I had cut my hand on the old one by just trying to pick up something next to it. This one had safety built in. The button that select thickness of sliced vegetable, goes all the way that the blade is lower than the surface, so you would cut yourself accidently

Great Purchase. I have 3 similar products that have not delighted me. Too narrow, too difficult to change the blades, I can't figure out how to get the most out of any of them. UNTIL NOW. This madoline slicer is so easy to use with dials to change thicknesses, dials to make specialty cuts like waffle and julienne potatoes. Easy to clean, easy to use, and nice and wide. Perfect for the cooking enthusiast! I'm sending all the old ones to the trash.
