Amazing quality! I got this for my book worm friend for secret santa and I think she will absolutely love it. The wood is very good quality, especially for the price. The colored lights are not very bright, good mood lighting, awesome. Happy with my purchase over all, definitely worth the money!

I bought this book to use as a decoration and an emergency light when the power goes out from storms. It sits on the corner of the coffee table, and guests to your home are impressed first by the quality of the wood cover, but when they open it and the light comes on, they are always delighted (no pun intended). We used it during the recent spate of storms twice, and it gives you enough light to move around, it's not glaring or blinding like a flashlight. Great purchase, and yes, we have given a couple away as gifts now.

This folding lamp is awesome! When I saw it I figured it would be a great Christmas gift for someone. It was packaged very nicely and came in a nice box. Well I fell in love with it. The lighting is nice and it really is an original item. I decided I liked it so much that I would keep it. It looks like a real book and the wood is very nice. We brought ten of these to a family reunion as gifts for everyone, and they just loved 'em. We ended up giving them out as people arrived, and the look on each recipient's face as they opened it and saw it light up was wonderful. I just wish had bought a few more for holiday gifts. Ours is plugged into our router on top of the TV cabinet, and we just leave it on all the time.
