These are designed to do one thing and they do that one thing very well. I am using them in two vehicles. They fit the headrest post in both and hang well and steady over the back of the front seats. The hook itself is large enough to hold a 2 inch shoulder strap from my gym bag and now it doesn't slide around on the back seat.

These hooks work great and function exactly the way I had hoped for! I actually turned them around and use them for the front of the seat, rather than the back. These hooks have solved the dreaded "bag dump" when you have to break suddenly. No more lunch spilling all over the inside of my work bag!!

There just isn't any room in the front seat area of my car where I can easily put my purse while I drive. I bought these for that purpose. I hang a hook on the passenger side headrest and hang my purse on it. It works perfectly, and I especially like that I can easily reach the phone in the outside pocket of my purse if necessary, and very easily grab my purse when I get to my destination. A great find.
