My dog has black nails so we weren’t able to use it to see the quick, but they worked great! It was a simple squeeze and they cut so easily. Usually it takes two people to cut my dog's nails, but with these, I did it by myself! The flashlight turns on when the handle is squeezed. There is a magnify glass attached to get a close up look. I’m very pleased with this product!

This is a fantastic tool! I use this for my cat, and I was always terrified to cut the quick. There's a light and a magnifying glass to help so you never have to wonder. I like that you can keep the light on, turn it off, or have it auto turn on as you clip ( because Kitty likes to chase the light). The blade is sharp and easy to use with a protective cover. My favorite feature is that it catches the clippings!

This is the best. I have tried doing dogs nails in the past with both clippers and grinders, and have ended up taking the dogs to the vet or groomer as could not hold dog still and do nails at the same time.
